Our Art Studio Program is a vibrant creative space where children are empowered to explore, imagine, and express themselves with confidence. Through open-ended, hands-on experiences, we foster curiosity, creativity, and meaningful communication in every child. Our play-based program intentionally provides a wide range of engaging opportunities and boronia childcare centre activities based on the Victorian Early Years Learning and Development Framework.
Our educators and teachers work collaboratively throughout the day to support each child’s individual goals, interests and developmental needs. This connected approach ensures every experience – whether it’s during play, mealtimes, outdoor exploration or intentional teaching, contributes to your child’s learning, confidence and development. Play-based learning experiences are provided for older children who no longer don’t sleep in centre. Approved children's education and care services across Australia are assessed and rated by their state and territory regulatory authority. The NQS is part of the National Regulations and includes seven quality areas that are important to children's learning and developmental outcomes.

Rather than starting again at each stage, children can continue growing within a familiar and trusted environment, surrounded by educators, friends and routines they already know. This continuity provides a sense of comfort, security and belonging, while allowing each new learning stage to build naturally on the experiences, relationships, skills and confidence developed in the years before. Our team combines expertise, consistency, and dedication to nurture, challenge, and inspire children as they grow socially, emotionally, and academically in a safe and stimulating environment. Our educators design learning experiences that are responsive to individual strengths, needs, and interests, while also intentionally building the skills children need for their next stage of learning.
Our Kindergarten program prepares children for school through engaging, play-based learning experiences that build confidence, independence and a love of learning. We offer free Victorian Government funded sessional kindergarten for three and four-year-olds. Our programs are guided by the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) and National Quality Standards (NQS) to support each child’s learning and development. Our dedicated teaching team is made up of experienced educators who support each child’s holistic development. We believe that natural environments and opportunities for risky play help children build resilience, develop life skills and foster teamwork. This is a unified approach by the Oppia team to encourage families to feel comfortable when participating in Centre life.
Families will be given as many opportunities as possible to participate in their child’s learning journey – including volunteering, regular social nights, family art sessions, annual art exhibition, termly learning discussions, information sessions. Together, these programs ensure children have a well-rounded, engaging learning experience, developing creativity, confidence, and practical skills that extend beyond the classroom and support a smooth transition to school. Our Playground to Plate ® is a food garden program that aims to revolutionise the relationship that children have with food from infancy through to school age.

I come to you with more than 19 years of experience in multidisciplinary industries, it was when I entered early childhood education, that I finally found my passion and haven’t turned back ever since. When your child starts, our educators will take the time to get to know your child’s routine, interests, comfort items and individual needs. Settling in looks different for every child, so we work closely with families to help children feel safe, supported and ready to learn. Before your child’s first day, you may be invited to attend a Stay and Play session. This gives your child time to explore the centre, meet their educators, and start feeling comfortable in their new environment. Once your paperwork is complete, your child is ready to start their early learning journey with us.

If a place is not currently available in your child’s age group, we can add your child to the waitlist and keep you updated. The Australian Government is replacing the Child Care Subsidy (CCS) Activity Test from 5th January 2026, to provide a min. 72 hours per fortnight or 3 days per week of subsidised early childhood education and care (ECEC) for eligible families. Our centre chefs prepare a nutritious menu for your child to sit down and eat. Educators model healthy eating practices, social behaviours and support children’s growing independence with mealtime routines. In our nursery environment, educators focus on building strong, secure and respectful relationships so babies feel safe, settled and supported as they explore the world around them.
Plus, anything else your individual child may need, such as breast milk, a sleeping bag, a comforter or medication.
