Devil’s Punchbowl is a 2.4-mile out-and-back hike on a mostly paved trail. Most of the hike is along Lake Crescent’s shoreline so that you can enjoy its serene beauty almost every step of the way. That means you need another day to travel to and from the park. Ideally, that day will also give you time to get settled with groceries and accommodations. The following morning is when your 3 days in Olympic National Park itinerary really begins. I recommend downloading your directions because some areas are so remote your phone will not have a signal.

I’ve been to the Last Slice numerous times, and it’s been a beautiful experience each and every time. On a side mention, I know it’s known to be a pizza store — but the CHIPS are incredible. 5 months ago me and my husband get a lunch from Bamboo Field at DFO homebush. That time my husband chose Mongolian Beef or something Beef. Right after that night my husband got high fever and shaking all night along.
It is highly recommended for its impressive culinary offerings and warm atmosphere. Went to Oporto with my 2 children and ordered a pulled chicken bowl . The order was made incorrectly and I was so hungry I willingly accepted the wrong order which was a chicken box. When I sat to eat I decided to make my chicken and chips into the wrap .

Next up, head to Lake Crescent, a glacial lake with pristine blue waters surrounded by evergreens and wildflower meadows. Have a picnic at Bovee’s Meadow or grab some food at the Log Cabin Resort on a nice day. Any supplies you need you can find at Fairholme General Store. Even the most active travellers could easily spend a week in Olympic National Park without getting bored. But if you don’t have quite that much time, don’t worry.
It also gives me an excellent, memorable and unforgettable experience in my life. I would like to thank the hospitality service team from Tim, Jonathan, Suhey, Sashank, Adam. So I highly recommend you to celebrate your next special occasions such as birthdays and anniversaries in Olympic Park Bacar.

Hoh Campground, although it has no RV hookups, is a solid spot along the Hoh River to immerse yourself in a classic Olympic Peninsula rainforest with thick moss, ferns, and old-growth trees. The region is made up of forests, mountains, rivers, beaches and deltas – and surrounded by sound and sea. This freshwater/saltwater park makes a perfect day or weekend trip. It can also serve as a base from which to explore the historic forts and charming small towns to the north, or the first night on a grand road trip around the peninsula. Near the campground and lodge, trails and steps descend about 40 ft. to the beach. There are several beaches, tide pools, scenic overlooks and trails to explore. The Kalaloch Creek Nature Trail is a mile-long walk through the forest along Kalaloch Creek, which drains into the ocean.
By 1985 the train was out of service and track removal had begun. This section of the ODT is now part of Railroad Bridge Park and the Dungeness River Audubon Center. Using the undercarriage of a surplus railroad flatcar, the county constructed an 89 foot bridge across McDonald Creek.

One thing that can really impact how much you enjoy your trip is the weather. Hurricane Ridge, WA is a completely different ecosystem and has very different weather from the nearby coastal areas. So knowing the current weather conditions is key.
To turn this visit  into a hike, walk north along the beach until you get to the Hoh River . This hike can be done as a big day hike or as an overnight backpacking trip. Starting at Sol Duc Falls, you will hike past Deer Lake and then enter the subalpine region. On this hike, you get to see more than seven lakes and there is a very good chance that you will spot black bear and other wildlife along the trail. This is a short, sweet hike to waterfall that is tucked away in an old growth forest.
