Thanks so much for a great experience. We purchased an 8×5 trailer from Mike at Trailers Direct Mooloolaba. The whole process was very easy, we chose the trailer, spent about 20 minutes doing the rego and speaking with Mike, and we were on our way. The price was great and Mike was very helpful.
The trailer is full of sharp galvanising and welds and has many offset joints (especiallyin the cage). There is also much weld splatter and the like not cleaned up before galv was put on.It has many rub/exposed metal points (the owner gave us some galvanising paint to resolve). We paid about $3200 and we very happy with the price given that everywhere else wanted between $6k and $7.5k for the same. Mike is a great guy to deal with. All our trailers are strictly manufactured and conform to stringent Australian Design Regulations (ADR) and Australian Safety Standards (AS) as well as the Motor Vehicle Standards ACT 1989.

The only other suggestion I have is, with the canvas cover option. So i have put removable pins and a rubber strip to stop rattle. I still believe the best trailer around. The trailer was the size I wanted, , it was available and didn’t have to be ordered in. It appears to be well built and came with extras which were add on’s with other brands I looked at.( eg spare wheel and jockey wheel). And importantly it was competitively priced.
