Pakenham Kindergarten Services

You are your child’s first teacher, and I view our role as a partnership—working hand-in-hand to support your child’s unique journey. We value the partnership between parents, families, and educators, working together to give children the very best start in life. To support open and ongoing communication, we utilise the Xplor App, providing families with regular updates, photos, and meaningful insights into their child’s day. Our purpose-built outdoor yards provide children with the freedom to play, explore, and develop safely within their own spaces, while also offering opportunities to interact with both older and younger peers.
Shared updates and meaningful moments help families stay connected, informed, and engaged with their child’s journey every step along. Choosing the right program involves evaluating your child’s capacity for structured time, your family’s schedule, and the level of convenience and flexibility required. In partnership with Nutrition Australia, our seasonal menus are expertly designed to childcare in pakenham meet 100% of your child's daily nutritional needs. Not only are they healthy, but they are also incredibly delicious—our kitchens truly are the heart of our service. What makes my role at Little Saints Pakenham particularly special is my personal connection to our community.

Our community-based early learning centres are built upon engagement with each other, supporting your child’s growth and future within their community. Our centre has dedicated spaces for science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM) as well as music and language programs. We have large outdoor spaces and a vegetable garden for children to explore and learn about sustainability.
We balance curriculum-based and play-based learning to ensure children are set up for success as they transition to school. Children in this age group are naturally driven to develop, explore, and build their independence. Our educators design programs that support learning through play-based experiences while encouraging children to discover more about themselves and the world around them. This program helps prepare your child for a successful transition to kindergarten and formal learning. I believe it takes a village to raise a child, and we are proud to be part of that village.
It is one of only two long day care centres in Pakenham 3810 holding an Exceeding NQS rating. Even better, our year-round program will be tailored to accommodate your child’s individual learning and development needs, which will do wonders for boosting their enthusiasm, motivation and willingness to learn. In our tailored 3 and 4-year-old Kindergarten programs, your child will engage in play-based learning, exploration, and endless fun. Our program is designed around the interests of children to allow them to discover, challenge themselves, and take risks. We believe every child has the right to high-quality early education in an environment that supports their health, safety, and wellbeing.

Our longstanding educator team provides consistency and strong relationships with families, with some educators having more than 20 years of service. We use CCTV security cameras in key areas of the campus to help protect children, families, and staff. Footage is securely managed and only accessed for authorised safety and compliance purposes, giving families peace of mind. Additionally, through the Sleep Smart program, educators receive expert guidance to enhance sleep practices, further ensuring the safety and well-being of all children. Story House Early Learning prioritises children’s well-being ensuring each child’s comfort and safety during rest times.
Integrated kindergarten is provided within a long day care setting, offering the same teacher-led curriculum but with the flexibility of longer care hours and year-round operation. Every kindergarten program at Cire is led by a university-trained, Bachelor-qualified Early Childhood Teacher. This ensures that every child in a Cire Melbourne kindergarten program receives an education that aligns with the Victorian Early Years Learning and Development Framework (VEYLDF). We educate and care for nursery-aged children throughout the day, with dedicated indoor and outdoor learning spaces, plus safe sleeping areas for rest. Every week, children across NSW need safe, nurturing homes where they can feel cared for and secure.

We are proud to offer the highest quality early education and care, where the safety and wellbeing of our children are paramount. Children thrive in our structured Bush Kinder program, designed to connect with nature and enhance social and emotional development in all  environments. During our 60-minute guided tours, you’ll be able to explore the centre, see our daily routines, meet our educators, and ask any questions you have.
Our team has been with the centre for many years, creating a calm, consistent and supportive environment for children and families. If you would like to get an update on your enrolment at any point, you’re welcome to reach out on our Web Chat or call our family support team. Our Family Support team can also help you find an alternate centre near you, with the same offerings, that might have immediate availability. Your child will be welcomed by our team of educators, who will ensure the morning transition from home to centre goes as smoothly as possible. On arrival, share information about your child’s specific needs for the day. Eligible families can access the Child Care Subsidy (CCS) and the Victorian Free Kinder program at our campus.
