We knew this place would give us the opportunity to practise what we do best – care, patience, and compassion – and that is how Twinklekids Early Learning Centre came to life. Play-based learning experiences are provided for older children who no longer don’t sleep in centre. Our educating teams strive to build meaningful connections with families and understand that communication is paramount in achieving and maintaining these connections. To meet the daily needs of all the children in our services, we provide day care near pakenham children with all amenities from nappies through to sunscreen whilst in attendance. With onsite kitchens each service provides healthy and delicious meals that support children’s daily dietary requirements. Led by qualified teachers, Pre-Prep will give four year old children greater opportunities to socialise and learn through play.

My daughter has gained so much knowledge since being enrolled — her speech has come so far,  she’s always happy, and she comes home full of stories to tell me. She genuinely loves going, and we’re so grateful for the wonderful team who make it such a positive place. I'm beyond impressed with the level of care and attention provided. My daughter started in the Toddler 1 room and settled in beautifully—she genuinely looks forward to going every day. I couldn't be more satisfied and would wholeheartedly recommend this centre to any parent seeking exceptional care.
Not only are the staff across the whole center amazing with the kids, they genuinely care about your whole family unit. Very friendly, dedicated and above all else, they love the kids in their care. YMCA Pakenham has shown us nothing but warmth since my daughters started here.

By engaging them in hands-on activities, we foster a sense of responsibility and appreciation for nature. Indoors, bright and engaging learning spaces encourage creativity, collaboration, and discovery through play. Our outdoor environments are a true hidden sanctuary, complete with sandpits, a dry creek bed, veggie gardens, and shaded cubby spaces where children can explore nature and learn about sustainability.
They can then bring this knowledge back to the centre to share with their colleagues for the benefit of the children. The approach at the centre is very much based around partnership between families and educators. The educators work with the parents and carers to build strong relationships.
All meals are thoughtfully planned to align with Australian nutrition guidelines, ensuring every bite supports healthy growth and development. Our skilled chef Amandi leads interactive cooking classes tailored to each age group, encouraging children to discover new flavours and learn new skills. Children enjoy a variety of foods while gaining confidence in the kitchen. Popular dishes like Chickpea Curry, Creamy Chicken Pasta with hidden vegetables and Pizza Scrolls are amongst the children’s favourites, making each class a delicious adventure!

Disappointing Experience with YMCA Childcare Centre-PakenhamWe had a very disappointing experience with this centre. We drove all the way from the West for a scheduled tour for Kinder 3 in 2026, which was confirmed by the centre staff themselves. Unfortunately, due to heavy traffic and rain, we arrived around 20 minutes late.Upon arrival, we were not accommodated at all. That simple courtesy would have saved everyone’s time and effort. We understand that schedules can be tight, but a little professionalism and consideration would have gone a long way.
