AMS Music Centre prepares students for a range of examinations, including AMEB, ANZCA, ABRSM, VCE, and IB, with expert guidance from their experienced teaching team. Our teachers have taught at many leading Australian and international schools, including top private schools. We prepare students for all levels of all examinations, including AMEB, ANZCA, ABRSM, VCE and IB.

We also offer Music Innovation to small groups of students who elect to learn Music on a deeper level. Glen Waverley Primary School also participates in The Victorian State School Spectacular each year. This allows our students to experience a production at a professional standard. With 20 years teaching experience and a passion for educating young people in R.A.D. classical ballet, Jacinta open her school in January 2017 and so, the Jacinta Murphy School of Dance was born.
We are so excited to give our 8 month year old the opportunity to learn another language! Not only is our child is learning Italian but is being exposed to modern artists, & craft activities that we can keep. At Glen Waverley Primary School we are fortunate to offer a large and vibrant music program. Students learn music from Foundation to Year 6 and have the opportunity to participate in Senior Choir, Junior Choir, String Ensemble, School Band and Drum Ensemble.

The Cantabile School of Music is a music school for students to develop a lifelong love and interest for music. Our students are taught in a healthy and balanced approach, allowing their own individuality and goals to be realised, expressed and fulfilled. I've been doing martial arts for over 20 years now and the challenges faced by parents back then are the same today.
Being an adult student with little experience, I was extremely nervous to begin, but the teachers at the studio have been nothing but friendly, welcoming, encouraging and professional. It is clear to see when visiting the studio that the students are happy and thriving in their musical ventures. I have developed more confidence that I thought possible and have been so impressed by the vast knowledge of all the teachers in the studio.
Students at our school consistently achieve high scores for their examinations as they are always granted opportunities to achieve excellency in their music. Students ages 6-12 years old are suited for our Group Piano Lessons. On Thursday the 6th of November, we hosted our annual New Families Afternoon Tea in the gymnasium. The event was a wonderful opportunity for families to come together, make new connections, and grow friendships within our school community. Congratulations to our newly elected 2026 student leaders who were formally inducted into their leadership positions at our school's assembly on Monday 8th December 2025. Congratulations to our 2025 Term Four Principal Learning Award recipients who were presented with their award certificate at a special end of term whole school assembly on Friday 19th December 2025.
