We are licensed to care for kindergarden near bayswater up to 75 children per day, aged from 4 years and upwards. Maylands Out of School Care Centre welcomes all families with a pleasant environment to enjoy and have fun. The Centre challenges children to play, explore, interact, learn and most of all, develop and encourage their own individual personalities. All children are respected to ensure they feel safe and secure in their home away from home environment. All children enrolling in our early childhood education and care services must be up to date with their immunisation or have an approved exemption. Most of our child care and early education centres offer nappies and wipes, sunscreen and hats, as well as nutritious meals prepared by our in-house cook. Some centres also provide sheets and formula, so you may not need to remember to pack them.

Thanks to the chef at our Bayswater child care centre, your child can expect healthy, nutritious, and yummy meals. We have an experienced food coordinator who prepares all meals in accordance with Australian dietary guidelines, using fresh ingredients delivered under our strict food safety program. Our Kindergarten program is delivered by qualified Early Childhood Teachers, with interactive technology such as an interactive whiteboard to support engaging learning experiences.
Supporting families is a big part of my role, and I do this by being present, approachable, and responsive. I take the time to get to know each family, their values, and their needs. Whether it’s easing the transition into care, helping with routines, or connecting families to community resources, I work to build strong, trusting relationships based on open communication and mutual respect.
Encouraging the children to challenge themselves and initiate their own exploration and experimentation is something we strive to do at Morley OSHC. We offer a rotating seasonal menu, providing breakfast, morning tea, lunch, afternoon tea, and a late snack, all freshly made daily. We cater for all children’s dietary requirement, preferences and cultural requirements, including halal and kosher.

Our outdoor play areas include a large bike track, climbing fort and swings, with beautiful trees providing natural shade, encouraging active play, movement and exploration. Our Toddler spaces have been thoughtfully designed to support this vibrant stage of rapid growth, curiosity and emerging independence. Utilising flexible indoor and outdoor environments, Educators intentionally set up engaging play experiences that evolve throughout the day, shaped by meaningful routines, sensory play, music and movement. These open-ended experiences invite children to follow their interests, build confidence and develop a strong sense of self as they explore their world safely.

I began working in early childhood education in 2020 and joined the Bayswater team in 2025. My background includes a Bachelor of Commerce (Accounting and Finance) and a Graduate Diploma in Early Childhood Education. I started my journey as an Early Childhood Teacher, then stepped into a Curriculum Leader role in 2023, and have been a Centre Manager since September 2024.

I am proud to lead the team at Great Beginnings Bayswater, a kind and caring group of educators who share a genuine passion for nurturing and educating the children in our care. In Victoria, 3 and 4-year-old children are able to access a funded kindergarten program led by a Bachelor-qualified Early Childhood Teacher. If eligible, your child will be able to participate in the Government-approved Kindergarten program, at no cost, up to a minimum of 15 hours per week, 40 weeks per year.
