At the Y, nothing is more important than the safety and wellbeing of children and young people. We embed child-safe practices into everything we do and we are accredited by the Australian Childhood daycare near pakenham Foundation as a child-safe organisation. As well as dishing up healthy meals, where possible we provide opportunities for children to cook, grow herb gardens and collect eggs from our chickens.
My passion for early childhood education began when I was just four years old. I vividly remember telling my kindergarten teacher that I wanted to be just like her when I grew up. As a child, I loved playing ‘mum’ with my dolls and teaching my two younger brothers, always imagining myself as a teacher. This early passion and dedication have stayed with me throughout my career. As a parent, I feel so fortunate to have found Hippity Hop, I adore the educators who are all so lovely and caring. The atmosphere is so homely, I love the feel and design of the rooms and outdoor play area. My son has excelled both socially and academically since he started there, the carers are all extremely communicative and I love dropping him off and watching all the other kids running over to greet him. I love knowing that while he's away from me, he's being completely taken care of in such a happy and positive environment. At Hippity Hop, we create a welcoming and familiar environment for all of the children in our care.
I am continually updated as to my child's activities and well-being throughout the day which put me at ease. The centre is always clean and fresh healthy cooked meals are served to our growing kids. Tash is exceptionally professional, lovely and has a very caring approach towards all the families.

Thanks to the chef at our Cranbourne North child care centre, your child can expect healthy,  nutritious, and yummy meals. We offer a rotating seasonal menu that includes breakfast, morning tea, lunch, afternoon tea and a late snack, all freshly made dailu. Our chef regularly cooks with the children, introducing them to a variety of fruits and vegetables. Each age group has their own vegetable pods for garden-to-plate programs, allowing children to grow and taste herbs as part of our inclusive activities. I believe it takes a village to raise a child, and we are proud to be part of that village.
