I read novels on my phone, which I love, as I can read in bed with the light off. But it’s not as obvious when I am reading fiction as it would be if I was reading a printed book – so I try to bring up my reading in my conversations with my children. Now, ladies and gents, I will be the first to admit I am not the hugest lover of Book Week. It’s a fun reason for them to ditch the itchy school uniform for the day and dress up in an itchy costume instead. Probably one that drops feathers or leaves a trail of glitter behind.
